I would like to talk about a rule change.
Keeper rule that you cant trade a player for a draft pick if you aquired him for a pick.
The intention of this rule does not fit. Reason: if you traded a pick for Ryan Howard and have the ability to trade him back..ie you have 2 other legit keepers. there is NO reason that that team could just keep Howard and trade 1 of the other 2 keeper quality players for the same value.
Point being, Howard is STILL rented no matter what.
The price is what I believe Nate has a problem with. give a 1st and get a 3rd back...although keepers arent going for more than a 7th and most keep what they got.
Solution: rule: you can only trade a player aquired by pick(s) for pick(s) if they are (x) amount of rounds lower. If you got Howard for a 1st and 2nd the most you could get is a 6th and 7th. thats 5 rounds for example.
Changing this rule to something like this will eliminate another issue. with players involed and a pick.
