HALFWAY POINT UPDATE

***NOTICE OF DELAYS THIS WEEK: I am going under the knife on Tuesday, so I am not sure what the time frame for Tuesday's (and maybe Wednesday's) scores will be as far as the site being updated etc. I will get it done, and if I had to guess, there probably won't be any delays at all. But I've never been prescribed narcotics, and I have no idea what kind of shape I'll be in on Tuesday night, Wednesday, etc. so I just wanted to let you know. It will get done ASAP, just put in your lineups as you always do.***

The regular season is at the halfway point, and here is what the playoff picture looks like as of now. This IS taking in to consideration head to head matchups which is the first tiebreaker between two teams.

1. DONALDSON'S DONGERS (29-21): Phil holds the tiebreaker over Junebug and finds himself in the top spot, also is 3rd in points. He is 6-4 over his last 10 games.

2. BAD NEWS BARES (28-22): Bare's geriatric crew is getting the job done, as he holds the tiebreaker over Chris as of now, despite being over 200 points behind. Bare also holds the tiebreaker over Matt which puts him in the second bye spot for the moment.

3. CUB YOUR ENTHUSIASM (28-22) Matt started out the season 0-5, lost one of his keepers in Kyle Schwarber, but has gotten hot and now holds a four game lead in his division. Those who question whether or not pitching staffs are a good choice for keepers in this league should take note of the Cubs staff and what they do for Matt night in and night out.

4. JUNEBUG (29-21): Bug is tied for the best record in the league, but finds himself in this spot based on 2-3 record against Phil so far. A month ago, Bug had one of the lowest scoring teams in the league despite his win/loss success, but he's been scoring lately, and now is 6th in the league's scoring race.

5. REBEL YELICH (28-22): Speaking of the league's scoring race, Chris leads the league in points, and has the entire year, but hasn't bested Bare more than Bare has bested him, so here he is.

6. MILLER GENUINE DRAFT (24-26): Tom went through a dry spell in May but has righted the ship and voila, is back in the playoffs as of now. Tom is 4th in points scored.

7. MANBEARPUIG (24-26): Two weeks ago I would have been in the top spot if the season ended. Fast forward to now, and I'm in the midst of a ten game losing streak, allowing Tom to leapfrog me, and I just made a questionable move that has depleted my starting pitching. Not only am I losing, but I'm not scoring dick for points.

8. TROUT MASK REPLICABRERA (23-27): Tim has been hinting of FINALLY becoming a seller this year, instead of his yearly future mortgaging to strengthen his team for a playoff run. But now he finds himself only one game out of the playoffs. And he has the tiebreaker over Bill right now. The next 10 games will probably decide which direction Tim will go.

9. BING BONG (23-27): Bill has the second most points in the league, but has to pass four teams to be a playoff team as of right now. The good news? Like Tim, Bill is only one game out. How this next series goes will be interesting for all teams.

10. BONES (22-28): The opposite of Matt, Bones started out and looked like he was one of the teams to beat in the first few weeks of the season, but has since gotten really cold. Matt and Bones have virtually flipped flopped first and last place in the division. Bones does hold the early tiebreaker over Nick.

11. KINSLER'S LIST (22-28): I could be wrong, but it seems like Nick has lost a lot of games by a point or a half point. Fresh off a two game sweep of yours truly, Nick is now right in the thick of things...only two games back.

12. FLIGHT 666 (20-30): Andy is at the bottom now, but he is only four games out of a playoff spot, and has gone 6-4 over his last 10 games. Has Justin Upton been banished?
