MAY 1 POSITION ELIGIBILITY

Just a reminder that starting with Game 20 (Tuesday, May 1st), if a player has not STARTED a game at a specific position, they cannot be in your lineup at that position. If any player STARTS a game at a position at any time, they will be eligible for the rest of the season at that position.

If you aren't sure, it's up to you to make sure your guys START at the position you are playing them at. For example, on my team Bill Hall is strictly an OF now, instead of OF/2B/3B/SS and Lance Berkman is strictly a 1B, instead of 1B/OF.

I'd also appreciate it if you let me know whenever one of your players starts at a new position.

Game On!

After taking a couple days to think over things, I have decided to commit myself to at least another year and the ban on trading draft picks will be lifted effective immediately. There will be no rule changes, trades will be processed as they always were. Thanks to those of you who said some kind words about my performance as commissioner...it's very much appreciated.

Just remember, just because you don't like a particular trade, doesn't mean that trade should be vetoed. Obviously most of you understand this. I guess any trade I make can be voted on, but calling for a trade of a keeper and a 2nd round pick for a keeper, a 3rd, and a 7th to be vetoed is a bit ridiculous in my opinion, especially a trade between two 4-10 teams (at the time).

Name our League

I'm sick of seeing "2007 Fantasy Baseball" as the header on our ever changing website, so my homework for you all is to reply to this post and figure out some kind of name for our baseball league. I can already imagine some of the names Colborn will come up with...winner gets a Diet Root Beer and Vodka prepared specially by Junebug.

ALSO, you'll notice that Transactions will be posted at the top of the page, and I have the Schedule through the end of May posted at the bottom of the page. Sorry if it's not especially easy to read, but sometimes this thing won't let me do what I want. I tried to make it as legible as possible.

I was going to post rosters as well, but I don't think I will, since it seems a bit cluttered already, so I will send out updated rosters every now and then.

EMAIL ISSUES

I mentioned a couple days ago, but once again I have received a delivery failure email for those of you who have charter for your email. I'm not sure what the problem is, but I need you guys to check your email settings for spam filters. When I send an email with the subject: Moves, transactions, etc. they all seem the same, so they might be getting blocked on your end. I have no idea.

I will start posting transactions on a daily basis on the website I guess. But I'd still like you guys to be proactive with your email settings. Again, I'm talking to Crary, Bill, Dan, and Junebug.

Rainy Day Women

Due to the number of games called by rain, I have decided to make Game 9 spread out over Sunday AND Monday. If one or more of the ten teams that were rained out on Sunday get postponed again on Monday for whatever reason, that's just the way it will go.

If a team plays both Sunday and Monday, Sunday's game is the game I will take the scores from.

I'm sorry if some of you scrambled to field lineups to go with all the cancellations, but it's a pretty simple solution since every team is scheduled to play either Sunday or Monday and nothing like this has ever happened before.

On a more concerning note, those of you that have Charter for your email, I have been getting delivery failure notices to almost every email I send to you guys. I don't know if there is some kind of "spam" filter on your emails or what, you should probably check your settings, since a lot of my emails, especially regarding transactions, come up looking the same, etc. and I know from experience that some programs take it upon themselves to block shit like that.
